The product

Here's how it looks for a makeup artist

The booking page is what a client opens from the link in your bio. Your calendar is where the booking lands by itself. Both sides of one booking.

The booking page — what your client sees
The schedule — what you see
Sound familiar?

Three pains of a makeup artist

01
A morning look — and the client didn't come
You got up at five for a wedding makeup at seven — and the client “changed her mind” without a word. That slot can't be replaced: the night is ruined, the morning is empty.
02
The DMs eat your evenings
While you work on a face, the phone sits in the bag. By evening there are twenty “is Saturday free?”. By the time you answer, half have booked someone faster.
03
Looks and preferences get lost
Which products a client can't tolerate, which shade suited her last time — it all lives in memory and old chats. Every repeat visit starts with asking everything again.
One day

A makeup artist's day with Domovleno

Not a feature list — what actually happens over a day while both hands hold brushes.

7:30
The day's schedule, in your pocket
The day at a glance: a bridal morning, a daytime look, an evening one. No more “when am I booked?” DMs.
11:20
A new booking — by itself, from your bio
A client tapped the link in your bio, picked a look and a time — the booking is already in the calendar. You were at a face at that moment.
13:00
Reminders went out on their own
Tomorrow's clients got their reminders. Whoever can't make it cancels in advance — and the time frees up for someone else.
16:40
Reschedules without the back-and-forth
The client moved her makeup session to a free time via her own link. The calendar updated, the reminders rescheduled themselves.
20:00
Day closed — the numbers in front of you
Revenue, visits and no-shows for the day — in analytics. You can see which looks get booked most.
A sample day

A makeup artist's example day: from trial to bridal look

Five bookings of different lengths line up one after another — no overlaps, with buffer time to pack up between clients.

TimeServiceDurationTypical price
9:00Bridal trial makeup1 h₴600–900
10:30Day makeup1 h₴700–1,000
12:00Evening makeup1 h 15 min₴900–1,300
14:00Bridal makeup1 h 30 min₴1,700–2,500
16:30Makeup + hair2 h₴2,000–2,800

Durations and prices are illustrative — typical for the niche, not a statistic or a price list. Your own menu will differ; the table only shows how a day lands in the schedule.

What Domovleno does

Makeup booking that works for you

Reminders people show up after

A confirmation right after booking, then a 24-hour and a 2-hour reminder — email, SMS or messengers. Whoever can't make it cancels in advance, and another client takes the slot.

Online payment at booking

For bridal mornings and new clients, enable payment at booking via Ukrainian payment providers — it can help reduce no-shows. The money goes straight to your account, and your acquirer (mono or LiqPay) can issue the fiscal receipt from your own PRRO once fiscalization is set up.

The money goes straight to your account via Ukrainian payment providers — Domovleno never holds it. Your acquirer (mono or LiqPay) can issue the fiscal receipt once fiscalization is set up.

Booking from Instagram — link in bio

Put the booking-page link in your bio and stories — the client picks a service and time herself: in the evening, on a weekend, with no back-and-forth. Every service has its own duration and price: day, evening, bridal.

Client cards with look notes

Contacts, visit history and notes — “sensitive skin, no shimmer, shade 2N” — in one card. A repeat visit starts with ready context, not questions.

Schedule and analytics

Working hours, on-location mornings, days off — one calendar, in your phone. Analytics shows occupancy, revenue and no-show share — on every plan.

Questions from makeup artists

We have several makeup artists working in one studio. Does each see only her own schedule?

Yes. The calendar shows every artist's schedule side by side, and on the Pro plan each makeup artist gets her own login — you decide what she sees: only her own schedule or everyone's open slots too. The owner sees all artists at once and sets shifts, days off and vacations in each artist's schedule. Price doesn't depend on team size, so adding more artists costs nothing extra.

I do a trial makeup before the wedding, separate from the big day. How do I handle that in booking?

Make the trial a separate service with its own duration and price — the client books it like a regular visit, then books the wedding-day look as another slot, often weeks later. Both bookings sit in the same client card with history, so before the wedding morning you already see the shade and preference notes from the trial. You can turn on online payment for either service independently.

The bridesmaids want to book together as one booking. Is that possible?

No, there's no group booking in the product — every booking is tied to one client and one time slot. Instead, each bridesmaid books separately, back to back: you see all of that morning's slots side by side in the calendar and can line up the schedule tightly. Each person gets her own confirmation and reminders, so nobody gets lost in a shared group chat.

Can I take just part of the price as a deposit, instead of full prepayment?

No, online payment at booking charges the full price of the chosen service — there's no partial-deposit option. If you need a smaller amount upfront, create a separate service such as “Evening makeup — deposit” with the same duration as the visit and the deposit as its price. The client books it instead of the main service and pays the rest in person. The fee is the same either way — 1.5% on online payments only, and the money goes straight to your account.

Can I sell gift certificates for makeup, say around a holiday?

Not yet — gift certificates aren't in the product; they sit on the public roadmap with no dates promised. As a workaround, you can create a separate gift service with a fixed price and description in your catalogue, which the buyer pays for online and gifts as a booking link. It's not a real certificate with an expiry date, but it lets you take payment for a gift today.

Honestly about scope: what Domovleno doesn't do

Domovleno is booking, reminders, the client base, online payment and analytics. There's no product-stock accounting or cost-per-look math; for on-location mornings there's no route planning — you build travel time into the service duration. Gift cards sit on the public roadmap, with no dates promised.
