Studios of independent specialists

Online booking for a studio with several specialists

Several independent specialists under one roof — and one studio schedule. Each keeps their own hours and services, clients book the right specialist themselves, and the client base belongs to the studio. On Pro everyone gets their own login, and you set what they see with one rule for the whole team. The price is per business, not per seat.

In short

Is Domovleno right for a studio of independent specialists?

Yes, if several independent specialists work under one roof — renting a chair or a room — and their bookings need to sit in one schedule. Each works their own weekly hours with their own set of services, clients pick a specialist themselves on the booking page, and contacts and visit history stay with the studio even when a renter leaves. The price is per business, not per seat: Free is $0 forever, Pro is $25/mo or $19/mo billed yearly, and on Pro every specialist gets their own login.

A good fit if

  • Each renter works their own hours and services, and you need one schedule that shows the whole studio's day.
  • You want to give everyone their own login (on Pro) and decide with one rule for the whole team what they see: client contacts, prices, colleagues' busy times.
  • You want clients to stay with the studio when a renter leaves, and a price that doesn't grow with every new specialist.

Worth knowing first

  • An administrator or front desk can't get a login of their own — the owner manages bookings for everyone; chairs and rooms aren't booked on their own, the schedule runs per specialist only.
  • Each specialist's schedule is one working interval per weekday: no two shifts in a day and no daily break.
  • Online payment goes to the account the studio connected, not to each renter separately; Domovleno doesn't calculate rent, commission or payouts.

Three pains of a studio where everyone works for themselves

01
Everyone keeps bookings their own way
One specialist books in DMs, another in a notebook, a third in a separate app. Nobody sees the studio's whole day, and sooner or later two clients turn up for one chair.
02
Access on trust
A shared spreadsheet with one password: everyone sees every client's phone number and each other's prices. Or the opposite — everyone keeps their clients on their own phone, and the studio knows nothing about them.
03
The team keeps changing
Renters come and go. Every new one means passwords, schedules and contacts set up by hand again, and everyone who leaves takes a piece of the studio's history with them.
One day

A studio's day with Domovleno

Not a feature list, but what actually happens in a day at a studio where each specialist works their own hours. If yours is a salon where the whole team works for one business, the beauty-salon page is a closer fit.

9:00
Every specialist's hours — in view
In the morning the owner sees everyone's day: who is booked, with whom and when — no merging chats and notebooks.
11:10
A new booking — with the right specialist
A client came from the bio link, picked Olena, brow lamination and a time — the booking is already in the studio calendar. The owner didn't touch the phone.
13:00
Reminders went out for everyone
Clients of all three specialists booked for tomorrow got reminders. Whoever can't make it cancels ahead through the link.
15:30
A specialist checks their day in the app
On Pro Mariia opens her app: only her bookings for today and tomorrow — no one else's clients, no prices. She requests a day off right there, and you approve it.
19:30
Day closed — numbers per specialist
Revenue, visits and no-shows per specialist — in the owner's analytics. You can see how many visits and how much revenue each one brings.
A sample day

Example of a studio's day: five bookings across three specialists

Three independent specialists — nails, brows and lashes, massage — work their own hours, and every booking sits in one studio calendar.

TimeServiceDurationTypical price
9:00Gel manicure1 h 30 min₴550–750
9:30Classic lash extensions2 h₴900
11:00Back massage45 min₴500–700
11:30Brow lamination1 h 15 min₴900
14:00Full-body massage1 h 30 min₴900–1300

Durations and prices are illustrative — typical for the niche, not a statistic or a price list. Your own menu will differ; the table only shows how a day lands in the schedule.

How it works in a studio

One studio schedule — and everyone gets their own

Reminders for every specialist's clients

A confirmation right after booking, reminders 24 hours and 2 hours before: email on every plan, SMS on Pro, Telegram or Viber for clients who subscribed. Whoever can't make it cancels ahead, and the slot can go to another client.

Online payment and numbers per specialist

Payment at booking for the services that need it, through LiqPay, mono or Stripe; it goes to the account connected to the studio. Analytics shows revenue, visits and no-shows per specialist — on every plan, and only the owner sees it.

Payment goes straight to the account connected to the studio — Domovleno never holds it. Your acquirer (mono or LiqPay) can issue the fiscal receipt from your own PRRO once you turn fiscalization on.

Every specialist in one schedule

Each specialist's weekly hours, days off, time off and own set of services — side by side on one screen. The owner sees the studio's whole day, drags bookings to a new time, and the client is told about the change at once.

Their own login — to their own day only

On Pro each specialist gets their own login and app: their bookings for the day and week, their clients, time-off requests. What the team sees — contacts, prices, notes, colleagues' busy times — you set with one rule for everyone. Bookings are created and moved by the owner, or by the client through their link.

The client picks a specialist — or “Any available”

On the booking page a client sees only the chosen specialist's services and genuinely free hours — or the gaps of everyone who does that service. A specialist can't be double-booked.

More questions about teams and renting

Renters work on different days and hours. How does that fit in one schedule?

Each specialist has their own weekly hours: one working interval per weekday — say Monday 9:00–15:00 and Thursday 14:00–21:00. Single dates are closed with exceptions, and on Pro a specialist requests time off from the app for you to approve. Two shifts in one day or a daily break aren't possible in the schedule — the gap between sessions comes from the service's buffer.

Two specialists share one chair in shifts. Will the system stop them overlapping?

Only through their hours: there is no separate booking of a chair, room or device — the schedule follows specialists. One specialist can't be double-booked, but two specialists whose hours overlap can both have clients at the same time. So if they share a chair, give them hours that don't overlap.

Can each renter receive online payments into their own account?

Not within one account. The business connects the payment provider, each location uses one, and the payment goes straight to that account — Domovleno never holds it. If fiscal receipts are set up, the acquirer (mono or LiqPay) issues them from the PRRO of that account's owner. If renters take payment into their own accounts, keep their services on pay-at-visit — it carries no fee — or let each run their own Domovleno account (then there's no shared schedule).

Does a specialist see colleagues' bookings?

Not by default: the app shows only their own bookings. If you switch on colleagues' calendars, a specialist sees only “busy” blocks in them — no client name, no service. It helps renters agree on a shared chair or cover for each other without exposing anyone's clients.

Do specialists see the studio's prices and revenue?

Prices, amounts and payment status are hidden by default; you can open prices with the same team-wide rule. The specialist app has no studio revenue at all: analytics with revenue, visits and no-shows per specialist is for the owner only, on every plan. Domovleno doesn't calculate earnings, commissions or rent.

Honestly about the edges: what Domovleno does not do

Domovleno runs bookings, the team's schedules and access, a shared client base, online payment and analytics. Chairs and rooms aren't booked on their own — the schedule follows specialists only, and each one's hours are a single working interval per weekday. There is no separate administrator login. Rent, commissions and payouts to specialists, stock, gift cards and memberships are not in the product yet; financial reporting with per-specialist earnings rules, gift cards and service packages are on the public roadmap, with no promised dates.

Questions and answers

Questions from studios with a team

Yes: each renter is a separate specialist in the shared calendar, with their own hours and set of services, and on the booking page a client sees only what the chosen specialist does. There is still one account, and it belongs to the studio owner: the client base, settings and online payment are shared. Rent, commissions and payouts between the studio and its renters aren't handled in Domovleno.
